Our Story

BaitCove started before sunrise, on a quiet cove with the fog still on the water.

Our founder grew up fishing — bank lines as a kid, then a beat-up kayak, then weekends chasing bass and whatever else would bite. But every trip to the tackle shop ended the same way: rod holders that rusted in a season, "marine-grade" gear priced like a boat payment, nets and bags that fell apart the first time they got wet. The water is hard on equipment, and most of what's out there simply isn't built for it — or costs a fortune when it is.

So we built BaitCove: a home base for genuinely good fishing and on-the-water gear — rod holders and carriers, landing and cast nets, tackle storage, kayak and boat accessories, fish finders, and the clever tools that actually make a day on the water better — at prices that don't sting. Every product we list has to earn its spot: would we clamp it to our own kayak or throw it in our own boat bag? If not, it doesn't make the cut.

Today BaitCove outfits thousands of anglers who care more about the catch than the brand on the box. That's the whole point: better gear, more time on the water, and more fish in the net.
